Oklahoma Born & Brewed – Exclusive Craft Beer Event on August 18
OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma Hall of Fame’s Second Century Board is excitedly planning the third annual Oklahoma Born & Brewed, presented by The Chickasaw Nation, to be held on Friday, August 18 at the Gaylord-Pickens Museum in Midtown Oklahoma City.
Oklahoma Born & Brewed will provide guests with a unique tasting experience that is completely born and brewed right here in Oklahoma. From established craft brewers to breweries in planning, makers will bring old favorites and new small batch brews to give guests an exclusive sampling. Unique small plates will be paired with each beer, created by Ned’s Catering.
With the feel of a casual cocktail party, the event will encourage guests to mix, mingle, and taste the pairings at their leisure. Breweries featured include (405) Brewing Co., Anthem Brewing Co., Bricktown Brewery, COOP Ale Works, Iron Monk Brewing Company, Marshall Brewing Company, Prairie Artisan Ales, Renaissance Brewing Co., Roughtail Brewing Company, Twisted Spike Brewing Co., Stonecloud Brewing, and Vanessa House Brewing Company. A signature cocktail will be available from Oklahoma’s own Prairie Wolf Vodka and Elemental Coffee will be on hand to keep everyone caffeinated.
All proceeds benefit the Oklahoma Hall of Fame and the Craft Brewers Association of Oklahoma. The event will take place from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Bennett-McClendon Great Hall of the Gaylord-Pickens Museum in Oklahoma City.

It’s an exciting time for us, as the Second Century Board, to introduce guests to pioneers in Oklahoma’s craft beer industry and to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame.”
The Second Century Board is a group of young professionals dedicated to preserving Oklahoma’s heritage for its second century. The board supports the Oklahoma Hall of Fame by hosting an annual fundraiser, volunteering, and raising awareness of the organization’s mission among young professionals. The Second Century Board works to introduce a new generation of Oklahomans to the people who have shaped our heritage as well as those who are currently making history in our great state.
